Research Grants
Each year the History of the University Unit provides funding to various projects that investigate, develop and present the history of the University of Melbourne. The aim of the study grants scheme is to promote and facilitate research into the history of the University of Melbourne, and its contribution to the wider community.
The Unit is proud to have assisted in the production of some very fine contributions to the history of the University as a whole, and to the departments and people that make the institution. Projects investigating any element of the University and its community, including biographies, are welcome.
These grants are awarded on a competitive basis, and do not normally exceed $1000. The Study Grants scheme is open to all researchers inside and outside the University of Melbourne.
Applications for Study Grants in 2008 have now closed.
